We're back on schedule. The survey is done, along with the easement letter and the wetlands determination. All we need to do is finalize the budget and turn our paperwork into the bank. We're about 30ish days away!
Glad to hear things are moving along again, I'm very interested in following your progress. We too are considering building one of the versions of this plan. Would you mind if i asked a few questions about it? I would really like a little advance knowledge before spending that much on a set of plans..
We just completed this house in May. We absolutely love it. We have 3 kids at home and gave the teenager the upstairs suite! We modified the design to have a 4 car garage and used the other half upstairs as storage as there are no basements in Texas. We finished the outside in stucco, cedar columns and white limestone and carried the same stone and cedar inside. best of luck with your house. It's a journey, so hang in there. So many choices it gets frustrating at times, but worth it!
